"Spirit Vessels": 1989-present
I learned years ago never to underestimate the value of small objects.
These Spirit Vessels, which range in height from 1/2" to 3" and
with a wall thickness of 1/16", challenge the importance of 'monumentality'
in design. They also allow me to orient the intense grain patterns
of highly figured woods in proportion to the scale of each object.
